The Szalay I Holiday Home is a villa built in the 1890s by Baroness Julia Gostkowska - Szalay, daughter-in-law of Józef Szalay, the founder of the Szczawnica Spa. Our facility is officially entered in the Register of Monuments and is a model example of wooden spa architecture, inspired by the Swiss style. The Szalay I villa was originally called the National Hotel and hosted many important representatives of the world of art and literature. For those who value relaxation in an interesting atmosphere, with the spirit of history - we invite you.

The facility is located in the very center of Szczawnica, on a quiet street.
We have a very large garden, an outdoor ping-pong table and a terrace with a barbecue area.

Since we offer 70 beds within the complex, we can organize larger or smaller corporate meetings.
Additionally, having a large hall (100 seats) we are able to organize banquets with a DJ, dance evenings and highlander feasts.
We also have a large green area where you can organize a barbecue, bonfire or party with a highland band.
However, the biggest advantage is the location of the complex - the very center of Szczawnica, in the quiet vicinity of the Spa Park. An excellent base for trips and relaxation.
We provide all assistance in organizing the stay program.
