The facility is located on the grounds of the Kostrzyca Forest Gene Bank Arboretum, which covers an area of almost 15 hectares. The Arboretum is a living gene bank, where specimens of the most valuable representatives of protected and ornamental plant species are stored. The collections include approx. 5,000 specimens representing over 700 species, subspecies and varieties of plants.

On the premises there is a tourist shelter with a place for a bonfire, walking paths and educational attractions: "Path of the senses", "Forest dendrophone", interactive board "Sounds of the forest - sounds of animals" and numerous educational boards placed along the paths in various parts of the Arboretum.

Worth seeing: Karpacz, Szklarska Poręba, Jelenia Góra, Rudawy Janowickie, Podgórzyn Commune, Kowary, Karkonosze National Park.

In the immediate vicinity (1 - 5 km) there are eating places and a grocery discount store.
