Karczma pod Młynem was established in 1992 in Katowice.

The name is related to the location in the Pod Młynem district,

where at the beginning of the 18th century a stone steam mill was built.

At that time, there was a children's car track and a mechanical carousel near the premises.

On the first anniversary, a traditional Silesian festival was organised.

A new facility was built on Gen. Hallera Street in Katowice.
