Pokoje Gościnne Franciszek is one of the first accommodation facilities in Szczawno-Zdrój. In 1896, the building was called Villa Waldfrieden. After the war, the facility was handed over to the Franciscan Sisters. When they left the villa, they gave the new owners a statue of Saint. Francis of Assisi, in whose honor the house was named.
