The tenement house with number 16 is situated in the southern part of the Market Square, opposite the Town Hall.

The history of this building dates back to the early 18th century. The most interesting and historically valuable rooms and architectural details, including the hall and cellars, come from the first stage of construction. Subsequent owners of the tenement house, especially in the second half of the 19th century, made numerous construction changes, including the original stables in the yard. After several reconstructions, in the 20th century the tenement house served a residential and service role. In 2007, the current owner - the Niedźbała confectionery company - began a general renovation of the property. During the renovation, the hall and cellars with a barrel vault with lunettes, the staircase and several brick bonds on the first and second floors were restored. The layout of the walls in the tenement house has not changed. However, fundamental changes were made in the yard, where a café was located in relation to the existing layout of the outbuildings. Currently, the tenement house at Rynek 16 fulfills the idea of coexistence of a valuable monument, an elegant aparthotel and a modern gastronomic establishment. On the ground floor of the building and in part of the former courtyard there is a modern restaurant and a brewery, while the rooms on the first and second floors are occupied by an aparthotel.
